Joseph C. Sillo, III, CPA

Experience:

Joe has over 20 years of public accounting experience in auditing, tax and consulting services for a variety of industry groups, including automotive and motorcycle dealerships, manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, paper brokerage service, health care and real estate development entities.  Joe also has significant experience in auditing employee benefit plans.

Career Path:

Joe received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Joe worked in public accounting with local, regional and national accounting firms where he has provided accounting, audit, tax and consulting services for a diversified client base of closely-held companies.  His background also includes accounting experience in the private sector with a regional distribution company, one of the largest independent distributors in the country, specializing in Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning products.

Professional Activities

Joe is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Community Activities:

Joe resides with his family in Springfield, Pennsylvania where he is active with the Springfield Swim Club, having previously served on its Board of Directors as its Secretary/Treasurer, and where he currently serves as its business manager.  He has also been active in coaching basketball in his community’s club athletic program.  Additionally, Joe was elected to a four year term to the Springfield School District Board of Directors in November, 2015.
